A recent viral video captured a lighthearted moment during Team India's net session in Birmingham, showing pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep playfully wrestling with bowling coach Morne Morkel.

While neither Arshdeep nor Akash Deep featured in the playing XI that suffered a five-wicket defeat at Headingley, Arshdeep shed light on the story behind the amusing visuals in a video released by the BCCI.

According to Arshdeep, the wrestling matches were a unique way for Morkel to signal the end of practice sessions. "Morne had said that the moment our practice session ends, he will have a last move and he will pin me. Thereafter, there will be no practice,” Arshdeep explained. He further added, "He has found a new way to call off the day and he was just showing us that."

The Indian team currently trails the five-match series 0-1 after their loss at Headingley, where England successfully chased down a target of 371 runs on the final day. The focus now shifts to the upcoming matches as India aims to bounce back and level the series.
