David Beckham is currently recovering in the hospital following surgery to address a long-standing wrist injury. His wife, Victoria Beckham, shared a snapshot offering fans a peek into his recovery process.
On Friday, Victoria posted a photo on her Instagram Stories showing the 50-year-old football icon in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and with his arm in a blue sling.
Captioning the photo “Get well soon daddy” with a heart emoji, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer expressed her support for her husband. The original injury occurred in 2003 during an England match.
While specific medical details were not disclosed, the injury is believed to be related to the wrist issue that has persisted since his playing career. Despite the discomfort, Beckham appeared to be in good spirits, offering a gentle smile for the camera as he recovered after the procedure.
Victoria also shared another heartwarming image of David holding a friendship bracelet with the message “Get well soon” spelled out in colorful beads – likely a touching gesture from one of their four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, or Harper.
The hospital visit comes just weeks after the announcement that Beckham will be knighted by King Charles, officially becoming “Sir David Beckham.” Victoria celebrated the news on Instagram, writing, “You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official.”
The couple also recently celebrated Father’s Day, with Victoria posting throwback clips and photos of David with their children, calling him “the best daddy there is.”
Married since 1999, David and Victoria Beckham continue to demonstrate that family remains central to their lives—even during unexpected hospital stays.
