In 2019, Ranjane played a Times Shield game and then trialed for Rajasthan Royals, tasked with chasing 60 runs with Shimron Hetmyer against bowlers like Oshane Thomas and Keemo Paul. Ranjane stated, "The preparations began quickly after the draft day. I was given a lot of clarity from day one on what my role was going to be. I never once got an impression I'd be a passenger on the squad. I was always made to feel like an integral part of the unit. They gave me confidence and things started falling into place. The coaches were always in touch. The feedback mechanism was in place for every session. It gave me immense confidence".

With strong performances in tournaments like the USPL, Ranjane hopes to join the national team. He aims to fill the need for a batting all-rounder with seam-up abilities for the USA. Even though he's not currently utilized in the MLC, his slower deliveries and powerful hitting could be valuable for the USA in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
